Job Description

The role of the Consumer Finance Processing Supervisor is to lead, guide and motivate team leaders and processors that are responsible for the pipeline of consumer loan applications. The Processing Supervisor will ensure the team is meeting expected service level agreements, target dates and providing a high level of customer service, while adhering to regulatory guidelines. The manager will need to not only know the day-to-day task items, but have the ability to see the overall pipeline for trending and arising issues to take action that will mitigate or minimize adverse effects. The manager will also work in conjunction with Senior management to implement new procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and/or service.

  • Processing and Pre-Closing Pipeline management to multiple target dates
  • Effective Management to Service Level Agreements
  • Aid staff with complex file situations, agency guidelines, regulatory and compliance details
  • Train and mentor new and existing staff; Provide input for performance development and evaluations

Job Responsibilities:

  • 7+ years similar or related experience in processing, 1-3 years team lead or related supervisory experience
  • High level of knowledge and experience with all loan types including home equity, vehicle and personal lending products
  • Strong understanding of all consumer lending related documents and functions from origination through closing/funding
  • Experience and skills to process Change of Circumstance requests and properly re-disclose
  • Understanding of all regulatory guidelines and ability to manage within compliance of these guidelines, including but not limited to Reg. B, X, Z, MDIA, HOEPA, ECOA, RESPA, TILA, TRID, ATP, QM, MLA
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail orientated; organized
  • Ability to adapt to change while working in a high-volume environment
  • Decision-making abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4-5 years’ of comparable work experience
