The impact you will have:
At Elliptic we know that our people are our best asset and you will be responsible for onboarding all of our new Elliptites! Your role is key to ensuring that all new Elliptites get the support, care and guidance they need for a successful start at Elliptic. You will own the end to end process from offer acceptance through to being fully integrated into Elliptic, shaping and continually improving this process to ensure we are providing the best possible experience.
You will join the People team, and alongside owning our onboarding process, you will act as the first point of contact for all people-related queries. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that we can scale effectively and efficiently!
What you will do:
You will help provide a great all round employee experience by:
- Coordinating and delivering a world class remote onboarding experience for all new joiners including but not limited to:
- Coordinating all stakeholders in the process; managers, IT & Operations
- Being the ‘go-to’ person for all new joiners
- Carrying out pre-employment checks, including right to work checks
- Sending out new joiner resources
- Setting up systems
- Conducting welcome/onboarding calls on their first day
- Scheduling onboarding sessions
- Reviewing, streamlining and improving our onboarding and offboarding processes
- Taking ownership of all People systems (including our HRIS BambooHR) and benefits accounts, ensuring the data we hold is always up to date and accurate
- Managing the offboarding process for leavers, ensuring exiting employees are supported during their last months at Elliptic and stakeholders have the information they need to ensure timely deactivation of accounts and systems
- Supporting employees across the organisation in a range of People issues by being the People team’s first point of contact
- Creating employee lifecycle communications, such as letters outlining promotions and pay rises, and references
- Reporting on People data, such as annual leave and turnover rates
- Actively championing and embodying our values and behaviours, preparing our quarterly value awards and celebrating our Chief Value Officers
- Additional ad hoc people initiatives and duties

Our ideal candidate has:
- Experience in a People and/or Operations role that covers:
- Managing onboarding for new joiners, with a focus on delivering an incredible experience at all times to both new joiners and their future managers
- A generalist understanding of HR policies, laws and procedures in the UK and/or U.S.
- Experience managing sensitive data and keeping it accurate and up to date
- Experience managing an HRIS
