Marley Spoon is currently operating in the US, Europe and Australia.

We have established our central Customer Insights Team with the aim to support the organisation to lead backwards with customers in all decisions we take and in all innovation we invest in.

In this role you will develop further our Customer Experience Framework, define new research initiatives. You will work closely with regional -and global business- and product stakeholders to understand Voice of the Customer, provide actionable insights as well as discovering further potentials and opportunities to serve our customers better.

Your Responsibilities

  • You partner with internal technology, product and business leaders, provide them with actionable customer insights and translating their business questions and knowledge gaps into timely and impactful research plan
  • You propagate insights: Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews to understand correlation of our metrics and the overall customer journey
  • You work with departmental leads on business-critical project requests
  • You work with the global Customer Insights Team to depict trends in the customer base and consumer population
  • You maintain, create and update reports and dashboards and analyse Customer Insights metrics on a weekly basis focussing on various customer segments by looking for patterns and trends
  • You carry out qualitative and quantitative customer- and market research projects using surveys, customer feedback, and publicly available data.
  • By initiating and leading various cross-functional improvement initiatives and workshops, you advocate and demonstrate a customer-obsessed and continuous improvement culture.


  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Social Science, Library Science preferred
  • Several years of professional experience in research methodology/design, data analysis, survey writing
  • Experience both qualitative and quantitative research methods (interviews, competitor analysis, information architecture task- and text analytics, heuristic evaluations)
  • Proficiency in Excel-, SQL, SPSS, or Stat
  • Familiarity with statistical principles and best practices regression, cross-tabulation, significance testing, and/or means-comparison test

  • You are self-starter, motivated to collaborate with business partners and peers to relate customer insight
  • You have outstanding communication skills: you are able to create customer stories and engage your stakeholders to it
  • You are fluent in English
