Job Description

In support of Booksy’s aggressive expansion plans we are hiring for a brand new role within our Marketing Department, a world-class Brand Manager - B2C (Please note this is not a Buyer position)

  • Primary owner for driving Booksy’s consumer bookings across different verticals
  • Recommending strategies to position the brand for growth within the assigned category, which includes but not limited to:
  • Market segmentation (segmentation of a given category)
  • Targeting (Selecting the best segments and how to best position the product for a given category)
  • Positioning (by partnering with Product Marketing), Product (by partnering with Product Marketing), Pricing
  • Promotion/Communications (marketing channels and messaging)
  • Analyzing brands of competitors, provider and consumer trends and usage behaviors by partnering with the global team within the assigned category.
  • Exploration of new segments
  • Clear data views and succinctly articulated insights
  • Lead development and execution of media and programs in other communication channels within the assigned category internally and externally.
  • Lead development and execution of promotions and events within the assigned category internally and externally.
  • Complete a promotional calendar for the assigned category.
  • Deliver on all marketing calendar milestones for the assigned category.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making and a focus on execution
  • Lead development and execution of content such as media, press releases, artwork, print and digital media for the assigned category. Provide a clear direction on content development via creative briefs.
  • Close the feedback loop. Collect data to improve key insights/what worked vs not, and apply those learnings to refine the strategy
  • Monitor the performance of a brand through key performance indicators (KPI) within the assigned category.
  • Achieve profit targets, timelines and budgets within the assigned category.
  • Manage agencies for category specific initiatives within the assigned category.
  • Maintain and grow the brand’s affiliations and partnerships within the assigned category.
  • Have an excellent understanding of the provider community and ambassadors for the assigned category.
  • Work with the Ambassador Community Lead to grow and cultivate key influencers/ambassadors for the assigned category.
  • Work with Category Managers to achieve the right mix of providers for the marketplace (types, geo implications) to drive consumer adoption of the Booksy app in key markets

Requirements

  • 5+ years of brand management experience in B2C
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Measurable revenue-generating and quantitative experience.
  • Understanding of selling through online channels.
  • Ability to demonstrate past success in developing and executing to a budget.
  • High degree of competency within all phases of project management, e.g. issue and risk identification and management, change management, tracking dependencies and milestones, communication of overall project status.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask while meeting deadlines each day. Use good judgment in making decisions as part of a dynamic group of professionals working towards a variety of goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness/Ability to travel to visit vendors and attend industry events.
  • Team-minded individual who handles deadlines, is self-motivated and looks to grow their skills while fostering a collaborative and enjoyable work environment.
