Human Resource Operations Manager

Job Description

The salary for this position is $43,000.


  • Process Semi Monthly Payrolls for multiple states
  • Oversight and preparation of onboarding, payroll and employee files for your assigned region
  • Communicating with Market Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents and Hiring managers on a daily basis regarding new hires, terminations, pay changes, offer letters and any other general questions as they arise
  • Ensuring processes are in line with our SOX control; implementing improvements where needed
  • Generating monthly and quarterly reports for accounting/finance/HR departments and other ad hoc reports as needed
  • Effectively address employee HRIS issues
  • Assisting with internal and external audits
  • and other such other duties assigned to you by your supervisor or the Company


  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in processing multi-state payroll for 100+ employees
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (basic formulas and pivot tables)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to adhere to tight deadlines and anticipate issues that may impact the payroll process
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax related laws and regulations
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality
  • Experience with ExponentHR Payroll and HRIS system is a plus, but not required
